Dear Parents/Guardians:

This is to inform you that I will be forming a broad-based School Climate Committee, comprised of parents, teachers, Board members, a community member and school administration.  The charge of this committee will be to seek input from all committee members on strategies/procedures that can be implemented to improve school climate at Chaplin Elementary School.   This committee will be a collaborative committee representing diverse views, whose focus will be on working together to achieve a common goal-that of an improved school culture that will ensure the academic and personal success of every Chaplin Elementary School student.   The Committee will develop recommendations on how to achieve this goal.  In order to ensure a focused, "workable"group, this committee will have no more than 10-12 members which will represent all of the groups described above.
