The following job opportunities are available for the Town of Chaplin:  

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS - TEMPORARY ON-CALL DRIVER/OPERATOR/LABORER:  The Town of Chaplin has an opening for a temporary, on-call position under the direction of the DPW Supervisor and the First Selectman. CDL license required (Class A preferred).  This is a non-benefited position with a salary range from $17.94-$20.85 per hour.

SENIOR CENTER - SENIOR CENTER ASSISTANT:  The Town of Chaplin has an opening for a part-time position under the direction of the Senior Center Director.  This position will assist the Senior Center Director as needed to plan, organize, and coordinate a multi-service program designed to promote psychological, educational, cultural, physical, and social needs of Chaplin’s Senior Citizens.  The position is not part of a collective bargaining unit. This is a nonexempt, hourly, part-time position requiring a minimum of 3 hours of work per week and an additional 144 hours per year to cover for the Senior Center Director in their absence.  This position does not offer employee benefits.  The beginning salary is $16.00 per hour.
