To All Residents,

As most of you are aware, the bridge on North Bear Hill Road is currently being completely replaced.  Even though this is an active construction site we received several complaints by the construction company working on the bridge regarding trespassers both during and after work hours. The worksite is off limits to any and all unauthorized personnel. The construction site can be very dangerous so the Board of Selectmen are asking everyone to please observe all signage. The State Police have been asked to patrol the area regularly and that trespassers will be prosecuted.

Thank you for your cooperation, The Chaplin Board of Selectmen

May 2016

Dear Parents/Guardians:

This is to inform you that I will be forming a broad-based School Climate Committee, comprised of parents, teachers, Board members, a community member and school administration.  The charge of this committee will be to seek input from all committee members on strategies/procedures that can be implemented to improve school climate at Chaplin Elementary School.   This committee will be a collaborative committee representing diverse views, whose focus will be on working together to achieve a common goal-that of an improved school culture that will ensure the academic and personal success of every Chaplin Elementary School student.   The Committee will develop recommendations on how to achieve this goal.  In order to ensure a focused, "workable"group, this committee will have no more than 10-12 members which will represent all of the groups described above.

If you are interested in serving on this committee, please e-mail my Executive Assistant, Carol Cyr, at ccyr@parishhill.org.

Thank you very much.
