Everyone’s invited to explore the Church property on Tower Hill in Chaplin where the Trust holds a conservation easement.

The hike will be led by Warren Church, a descendant of the Churches who have owned this property since moving to Chaplin in 1834. Warren is also a Trustee of Joshua’s Trust and the chair of the Acquisition Committee.

The hike will be easy to moderate, approx. 2.5 miles in length.  It starts out at the Russ cemetery at the intersection of Tower Hill Rd and Bujak Rd. it will then wind through what was once a pasture-now with its varied terrain and vegetation, it is a haven for all types of small and large birds and animals.
