What to Do If You Have Questions or Concerns

If you have questions or concerns about anything regarding Chaplin Elementary School, please follow these three steps to follow: 

1. If the concern is regarding a classroom matter, start by talking with your child’s teacher.  Otherwise, begin by contacting the school Principal.
2. If you are unable to resolve your concerns at the school level, the next step is to contact the Superintendent, who will investigate matters of concern and promptly follow up with all involved parties.
3. If you are unable to resolve your concerns after meeting with the Superintendent, or if administrative solutions put in place to address your concern prove unsuccessful, it is appropriate to engage the Board. The Board will investigate and may choose to act on a concern at a public meeting, or it may pursue other avenues to resolution.
