ATTENTION CHAPLIN DOG OWNERS: JUNE IS LICENSING MONTH!
Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §22-338, all dogs six months or older must be licensed.
Fees are as follows: $8.00 for a neutered or spayed dog, and $19.00 for an unaltered dog. Cash or check.
Valid rabies certificate required. New dog registrations require proof from your vet if your dog has been spayed/neutered.
All current dog licenses expire on June 30, 2026. There is a $1.00 per month late fee after July 1st.

The Senior Center Board of Directors oversees the day to day activities of the Senior Center and is appointed by the Board of Selectmen.
Chaplin's Senior Center is open to Chaplin residents and citizens of surrounding towns who are 50 years of age and older and offers a multitude of activities and events. The Senior Center is the best spot to enjoy leisure time activities, meet with friends in the lounge area and watch favorite TV shows and sporting events on the large screen TV. In addition, the Senior Center has a pool table and exercise room filled with exercise equipment. Weekly classes are also offered and include Quilting, Crafts, Tai Chi, Yoga, Watercolors and much more.
The Senior Center Board Of Directors meets the 1st Tuesday of every month at 10:00 am in the Chaplin Senior Center.
