Chaplin Community and Economic Development Commission

The charge of the Commission is to research economic conditions and trends in the municipality and to make recommendations to appropriate officials and agencies of the Town regarding action(s) to improve economic conditions and development in the Town, to seek to coordinate the activities of and cooperate with unofficial bodies organized to promote such economic development, and may, at the expense of the Town, advertise and may prepare, print and distribute books, maps, charts and pamphlets which, in its judgment, will further its official purposes.

The Commission meets quarterly at 6:30pm  at the Chaplin Town Hall or, remotely, if health and safety requires such. 

The Community and Economic Development Commission will be creating a brochure to promote the Town of Chaplin as a tourist destination and to promote the business climate.  If you would like to be included in the brochure, please email the commission at Economicdevelopment@chaplinct.org with your contact information.
