TRANSFER STATION - WINTER HOURS

Due to the low volume of visits during the winter at the Transfer Station, it will be closed every other week starting 1/2/2021. 

 The Transfer Station will be CLOSED on the following days: 1/2/2021; 1/16/2021;

 1/30/2021; 2/13/2021; 2/27/2021

 NOTE:  It will be open weekly starting the first week of March on 3/6/2021 every Saturday from 9am-4pm.

Police

Troop D 

The men and women of Troop D patrol 451.6 square miles, which can be best described as a rural/residential environment with some small business & light industry. There are approximately 33 miles of limited access interstate highway and over a thousand miles of secondary roadways. The major routes are Interstate 395, Route 6 and Route 44.


The majority of troopers assigned to the Danielson Barracks live in the troop patrol area & take an active role in a wide variety of community activities.

The Connecticut State Police, Troop D, provides a Resident State Trooper for our town. TFC Patrick Guertin is our Resident State Trooper and can be reached at (860) 455-2069 or email him at patrick.guertin@ct.gov.  In the event Trooper Guertin is not in Town for non-emergencies you can contact Troop D at (860) 779-4900.  All emergencies dial 911.
