ATTENTION CHAPLIN DOG OWNERS: JUNE IS LICENSING MONTH! 

Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §22-338, all dogs six months or older must be licensed. 

Fees are as follows: $8.00 for a neutered or spayed dog, and $19.00 for an unaltered dog.  Cash or check.

Valid rabies certificate required. New dog registrations require proof from your vet if your dog has been spayed/neutered.

All current dog licenses expire on June 30, 2026. There is a $1.00 per month late fee after July 1st.

Chaplin Juneteenth Closures:  The Chaplin Public Library and the DPW will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026

                                                  The Chaplin Town Hall and Senior Center will be closed on Monday, June 22, 2026
