ATTENTION CHAPLIN DOG OWNERS: JUNE IS LICENSING MONTH!
Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §22-338, all dogs six months or older must be licensed.
Fees are as follows: $8.00 for a neutered or spayed dog, and $19.00 for an unaltered dog. Cash or check.
Valid rabies certificate required. New dog registrations require proof from your vet if your dog has been spayed/neutered.
All current dog licenses expire on June 30, 2026. There is a $1.00 per month late fee after July 1st.

Chaplin Juneteenth Closures: The Chaplin Public Library and the DPW will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026
The Chaplin Town Hall and Senior Center will be closed on Monday, June 22, 2026
The Public Hearing Scheduled for the 12/10/15 PZC has been cancelled. The applicant/owner has withdrawn the application for the proposed Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Facility.
The Planning & Zoning Special Meeting is still scheduled at 7:00PM at the Senior Center located at 132 Chaplin Street, Chaplin CT
